Prepare for emergencies

The best way to prepare for any type of disaster or emergency is to become educated and then take action. Knowing you and your family have a plan in place, should the unthinkable actually happen, will bring a great sense of security and peace of mind.

To assist you in preparing for disasters which may occur where you live, we have created 15 Hazard Briefs which provide critical information on what to do “Before”, “During” and “After” a disaster strikes. These informative briefs may be printed out by following the links below. We invite you to identify the hazards which may most likely occur in your area, print out the corresponding Hazard Briefs and develop an action plan with your family on how best to prepare for such events. The saying, “If you are prepared, you shall not fear”, definitely applies to the level of personal preparation you make to deal with these potential disasters.
