Founders Message

The ravaging wildfires which swept through Southern California in October 2007 destroyed 1,975 homes, forced the evacuation of 1,000,000 people and left communities without power for days. More than 200 homes in our small community of Rancho Bernardo, CA were burned and many of our friends and neighbors were left homeless. My son, daughter-in-law and their two newborn sons were forced to evacuate with only 30 minutes notice.

I witnessed firsthand the emotional pain and sorrow of those who lost everything. This experience created an intense desire to help families be better prepared; not only for emergencies, but to meet the challenges and risks of everyday life. Thus, PrepareWell was born. We recognized early on that being prepared is a process - not an event. The desire to offer people an organized, step by step system from which to base their preparedness plan prompted the creation of the PrepareWell Family Safety Plan.

Each of the 10 modules provide excellent instruction on how to prepare your family in case of emergency or disaster. Thousands of hours have been spent ensuring the process is simple and understandable. We are confident we offer the most comprehensive, straightforward process by which families can become prepared to deal with everything from natural disasters to quickly recovering a lost pet. A lifestyle of preparedness will bring you and your family great peace of mind and satisfaction.
